Chemical Factory Explodes in France
At least 29 people died when a chemical factory producing artificial fertilizer
blew up in Toulouse, France, this week. Presumably the workers made a mistake
mixing the chemicals together.
After such an accident, one can simply go back to his daily routine or think
about whether this accident also doesnt want to tell us something.
What does artificial fertilizer do? It stimulates the growth of plants, but does
not promote the life of the soil; instead, it hinders it. Due to the unnatural
abundance of minerals in the fertilizer, countless micro-organisms are blocked
from carrying out their functions and are damaged. The plants may still very
well grow and bear fruit, but how long will the soil endure this exploitation?
Of all people, the chemist Justus von Liebig, the inventor of artificial
fertilizer was remorseful already during his lifetime over his discovery and
advised against driving the natural cycle of life to maximum performance by
unnatural means. In the long run, this could only result in ruining the soil and
leading to famine.
But right up until today, this warning has hardly been made known. Will we go
back to our daily routines this time, too?
Admission of Guilt after over 25 years
Church Pay ca. 45 million $ to Abused Mass Servers
The Catholic Church in Oregon, USA has said it is prepared to pay compensation
in the sum of ca. 45 million dollars to mass servers who were sexually abused by
a priest from its ranks over a period of 20 years. The meanwhile 80-year old
cleric voluntarily confessed to having sexually assaulted the servers over and
over again before and after mass from 1955 to 1975.
The real scandal: Had the priest not decided to ease his conscience, right up
until today, the deeds would not be atoned for. Complaints from the parents in
1974 were dismissed as idle gossip and as slander against the Catholic
faith. The priest was simply transferred to another parish.
Italy:
Church Conceals Priest Who Committed Genocide
The Catholic Church in Italy is concealing a Ruandan priest who is being sought
for mass murder. Father Athanase Seromba appeared in July 2001 in his church San
Mauro a Signa in Florence, where, as previously announced, he wanted to explain
why the Ruandan UN Tribunal was seeking him. Instead, another priest appeared to
explain that Seromba would remain in hiding, to protect himself from
reporters.
The 2000 Tutsi, who had fled into his church in Nyange in Ruanda during April,
1994, seeking protection from the machetes of the Hutu, did not receive
protection. On the contrary, according to research by the organization African
Rights Seromba supposedly gave the order to flatten the church, together with
the refugees, with a bulldozer. He is said to have personally shot fleeing
Tutsi.
Religion Class in Baden-Württenburg
The Church wants to collect even more money from the State
The Protestant Lutheran Church in Baden-Württenburg, Germany, is complaining
that it does not receive enough money from the government for religion classes.
It says the state is obligated to finance religion classes in public schools by
100%, but is paying only 28%.
Be that as it may, it is a scandal that the state and this means every
taxpayer, regardless of faith finances the dissemination of the belief of the
mainstream churches in its schools. That the present amount of money is not
enough for the incredibly rich churches, that in this era of chronically empty
state coffers it demands even more shows its attitude: More, ever more, for
me; I am indifferent to others.

Brandenburg
Millions of state funds for the glorification of the Murder of Jews
Was the wool pulled over his eyes? Or is he draping the cloak of awkward silence
over it all? At the foundation supporting the monastery of the Holy Grave near
Pritzwalk in Brandenburg, German President Johannes Rau, known for his pious
quotes from the Bible, was informed about The history, task and future plans
of the monastery. This included the fact that already over 6 million DM from
national and state funds as well as from the German Foundation for Protection of
Monuments have flowed into the renovation of the monastery. Total costs are
estimated at 30 million.
A surprising blunder: An essential part of the monastery facility, the Blood
Chapel, was built in 1512 after a pogrom against the Jews living in Berlin, who
were all killed in the action. They were tortured, having admitted to having
slaughtered Christian children for ritual purposes. All Jews were then driven
out of the electorate; their assets were seized, and among other things, used
for building the splendid Miracle Chapel.
Apparently no indication of this bloody history is planned in the renovation.
How would it be if the state were to use only a fragment of this money in order
to build a monument to the victims of the Church, for instance, in the middle of
Berlin in front of the Church of Mother Mary, where the Jews were burned at that
time?
